🦊 Fiat Ducato 2.8 Jtd Gearbox Oil Change

Hello, I have looked on the Fiat parts system and found that the sender unit from the gearbox used for the 2.0 JTD from 2002 to 2006 is only used on that vehicle and the part number concerned has no other applications apart from Ducato. It does appear to be the same unit used on all variants and engine sizes And this is my first post. Any one know of any problems relating tha 2.8 Ltr fiat ducato engine & gearbox in the motor home Swift Kontiki 640. I have W Reg 2000 with just short of 40000 miles on the the clock. Some comments have been made about the gears jumping out of Fifth gear & some damage to the sincromesh. Hi yes it does, suggest you drain it first & save or replace the oil, the plug is under the final drive assembly (old internal square type). Original Specs say 2 liters but it should have 2.7 to save the 5th gear from oil starvation.
